I forgot we wanted to post this earlier...
By the way...the Norback family whom we had just met days earlier on the island of Marstrand invited us to stay the night at their house tonight. Nowhere else but in Jehovah's organization would something like that happen. We are so loved and so well taken care of. We're feeling a little under the weather tonight but we will take a train tomorrow to their town and spend the day with them. It will be our last full day here in Sweden.
I keep imagining that someone leaves the mic on and the brothers and sisters will hear some noises that they really don't want to hear. :)
ReplyDeleteI asked the brothers. I guess there is a sensor in each mic and they are left hot during the entire meeting. If the mic is upside down and put away the sensor reads that and it turns off. When it is held upright it turns on. It still makes me nervous if someone puts it away in the upright position. The brothers also said sometimes the sensor isn't working correctly and so the friends have to shake the mic up and down before it works.
DeleteI was curious about how the seats looked! Man I thought the same thing! sound must have a flip switch or push button mute to each mic. Otherwise holy cow problems!
ReplyDeleteFeel better Johnnie and Krystle! Enjoy your train ride and last day!
